Project realized on the occasion of CBI – Communities Between Islands, residency in collaboration with Archipelago Network (Syros, Greece), Providenza (Corse, France), Cherimus (Sardinia, Italy)
Presented at Museo Nivola (Orani, Sardinia) during the event “…And we’ll end up singing”.
“Song for a Future Embrace” is a musical composition that can only be experienced through its individual components—rhythm, melody, and vocals—each played separately and in sequence within a sound installation. These sections were recorded during the CBI residency in collaboration with the inhabitants of Syros (Greece), Corsica (France), and Sardinia (Italy).

The installation consists of three speakers, each accompanied by musical instruments used to play and record the piece. These elements remain in a state of anticipation, playable only by the original contributors from each island.
Thus, the work exists as a promise of a future performance, where all collaborators—hailing from various edges of the Mediterranean—can reunite to play together.
