The Beginning is the pilot episode of a TV series which uses the linguistic means belonging to the serial television format, with the purpose of building a meta-narration which retraces the creation and the History of human language. In the first episode the narrator talks about the origin of the Universe. Images composed by DIY techniques – childlike representations but also home experiments – lead the spectator to questioning about the nature of human language, and on its adherence to reality.
In 2021 the work has been selected by Osservatorio Futura and Anna Casartelli and included to the online exhibition “Maratona di Visione” curated by Alberto Ceresoli.
The same year the works has been exhibited at Cappella di Santa Maria dei Carcerati a Palazzo Re Enzo (Bologna) during the group screening “Labirinto Urbano”, curated by Metoché.
