In this circle determined by the presence of four entities we see a sort of dialogue – or maybe a clash – between different ways of seeing what the human being tries to remove: fragility, fear, and indeterminacy.*
*the prints are old anatomical tables that I found in a s treet market in Amsterdam. I think the dialogue between me and this work started in that precise moment.

The work is an imaginary attempt of burst into the Real.
A crack on the canvas allow the observation of the evaporation process of the water, therefore feeding a continuous cycle that goes from fiction to reality without ever stopping.

The works is a painting born as a subversive object towards hitself but that keepks its unchenged link with the past. For me this is a dreamlike image, symbol of a continuous struggle between beauty and horror, which are perhaps the same thing.

The work comes from the need to ricreate a localized attention in order to get later a terror not circumscribable to a single element but, rather, to the sum of the things.
music album by The Boys and Kifer,
performance at Marsèlleria (Milan), 14th November 2018
“Where is The Boys and Kifer?” is the third album by The Boys and Kifer, published as an independent production in April 2018 (digital version) and available since May 2018 in a limited edition. The album is structured as a set of collaborations between The Boys and Kifer and authors of the contemporary artistic and musical scene active in Milan and Turin (Alessandro Di Pietro, Death In Plains, Bellagio Bellagio – Matteo Nobile & Natália Trejbalová – , Sara Davide, Roberto Casti, Alessandro Moroni, Enrico Boccioletti and Ramona Ponzini).
The result is an hybrid of different personalities alternating multiple handed compositions, thought out to be performed in a chaotic live, where the visual element coexists with the musical one. The leitmotiv of the album – to be found in the single tracks with always different approaches – is the topic of mimicry, intended as the imitation process which is typical of the single self as social animal. The album launch live curated by Roberta Pagani, presented for the first time at Marsèlleria, hybridizes and flags categories distinctions – visual and sound -, finding its place between music live and art performance combining sound, voice and word – both written and spoken – drawing its strength from language power.
During the performance, the sound interventions are mixed with the visual interventions by Luca Setzu, Bea Vinamaki and Jacopo Belloni. Is also available to the public a fanzine with a collection of texts by
Nicole Colombo, Matteo Mottin, Chiara Spagnol, Corinne Cortinovis and Dalia Maini.
